Option 1: Reset from Settings (easiest)
Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap General Management.
Select Reset.
Tap Factory Data Reset.
Review the information, then tap Reset → Delete All.
The tablet will restart and return to the “Welcome!” screen with the blue Start button.
⚠️ This will erase all apps, settings, and data on the tablet. Make sure nothing important is stored before performing the reset.
Option 2: Reset from Recovery Menu (backup method)
Use this if you can’t access Settings.
Turn off the tablet.
Hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears.
Release buttons when the Android Recovery menu shows.
Use Volume Down to highlight Wipe data/factory reset → press Power.
Confirm with Factory data reset.
When finished, choose Reboot system now.
The tablet will restart to the “Welcome!” screen.
